Clayton College: a Natural Health School

Clayton College of Natural Health is a distance learning institution. The school's curriculum is based on a non-traditional philosophy. The natural health school was developed around the principle that the body can heal itself if given certain elements that it truly needs, including water, sunlight, and proper nutrition. As a result, the natural health degrees and certificate programs offered at CCNH help students to understand these principles, and then use them in practice with clients down the road.

Alternative to medicine school

As part of the curriculum, in one of the degree or certificate programs, students at CCNH will learn different techniques that are alternative to traditional medicine. Curricula includes a holistic nutrition class for some students. This portion of the educational experience educates students about the correct foods and proper portions needed to achieve and maintain balance within the body, treating every aspect of diet as important.

The holistic nutrition class

The holistic nutrition class offered as part of the degree and certificate programs at Clayton College of Natural Health is a good introduction to the school of naturopathy. This unique distance learning option is great for health and fitness professionals or other people looking to learn more about the field without having to travel to one of the United States' few institutions.

What is a school of naturopathy?

A school of naturopathy teaches students how to stimulate natural healing processes in the body. This is done by moving the body towards a natural state of balance. Non-invasive, non-retaliatory methods are emphasized: creating a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent disease is one of the main goals. There is a lot of demand for this type of approach, but only a few places to learn the techniques. Contact the natural health school at Clayton College to learn more today.
