Educational Partner: Linda Page
Biography
Linda Page, ND, Ph.D. has enjoyed a rewarding career that spans more than two decades, beginning with her education from Clayton College. In fact, the very first version of her book, Healthy Healing™ — A Guide to Self-Healing for Everyone, was her dissertation while she was a student at Clayton College. She is a master classical herbalist, and started the herbal nutrition company, Crystal Star™, in 1978. Page has formulated over 250 whole herb combinations, and her women’s formulas received some of the first United States Patents for herbal formulations.
The college’s relationship with Page has grown through the years. In addition to using her books Healthy Healing™ — A Guide to Self-Healing for Everyone in the course NH 121: Natural Health and Traditional Naturopathy and Detoxification in the elective course NH 509 Detoxification and Healing, Page is also CCNH Adjunct Professor for Natural Health and an Advisory Board member. She is a leader of CCNH Educational Travel programs, and has traveled with students and graduates, studying Native American Herbalism in the Southwest USA, experiencing sacred sights and herbal healing of Kauai, Hawaii, and leading tours to China to observe Traditional Chinese Medicine in action.
Page is a featured presenter at CCNH Educational Events at major trade shows in the natural products industry. She appears on national television, radio, and in magazines, and she has spoken before Congressional and Senate Committees on behalf of DSHEA. She continues to be a staunch advocate for the freedom of all to choose natural health protocols and products.
Because she continues to uphold our mission of teaching students how to teach others about natural health, CCNH awarded Page the Practice What We Teach award at the 2007 natural health conference.
